Orecchiette is a regional pasta variety from Puglia in teh south east of Italy. Its name translates to “Little ears” in Italian and describes their small curved shapes.
orecchiette is originally made in teh city of Bari where they have been arouns since the 12th century.
100% Italian wheat, slow dried at low temperature.
Good to know: It is perfect with seafood or any vegetable sauce. Traditional match for orecchiette is broccoli, or turnip tops, anchovy and a little bit of chilli.
