La Fonte Yellow Whole Peeled Tomatoes (12x14oz).
Italian yellow whole peeled tomatoes packed in yellow tomato juice. They have a vibrant and a fresh aroma, are rich in carotene, less acidic and much sweeter in flavour than red tomatoes.
They are perfect for fish-based dishes and for delicate recipes. Try them with pasta, bitter vegetables, or salty or spicy foods.
These tomatoes are at their full ripening between the summer months of August and September when they are harvested, attentively sorted, steam peeled and packed in their juice.

Good to know: The Italian name for tomato is pomodoro or golden apple as at first tomatoes used to be yellow and not red.
